Privacy Policy

FenceLevel is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, and no tool asks for your name, email, address, or phone number. The only place we ask for anything is the optional quote form, described below. We don't sell personal information.

Everything you enter into our calculators, the selector, and the quote checker is processed in your browser and is never transmitted to us, unless you choose to send it with the quote form below. The contractor and pool-code checklists save your progress in your browser's local storage on that device only — clearing your browser data erases it, and it never reaches our servers.

Our tools and cost guides have an optional “Get quotes” form. If you press its button we receive the job description (pre-filled from your tool result where there is one, never with the price you enter in the quote checker, and editable), your ZIP code, your email, the page you were on, and, from a calculator, a link back to your estimate. Nothing is sent until you press the button. We never ask for a phone number.

It is delivered to our own inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, so we can reply. Today nobody pays us for this and we pass it to no one. If we ever work with a quote-matching service, the form will name that company above its button and say we may be paid for the introduction, and this page will name it too. Your request goes to them only if you send it under that notice — nothing sent before then is passed on.

To have a request deleted, reply to any email we sent you about it.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. This can set cookies and collect standard technical data such as approximate location, device type, and pages visited. It is not tied to your identity, and we use it only to improve the site.

Some pages in the dog-containment section may contain affiliate links, disclosed on the page. If you follow one, the destination site may set its own cookies and track the referral — that's their processing under their policy, not ours. We never receive personal information about you from those links.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
